Welcome to the Basil & Barbells Health Alliance

This is a community for people who want to lose weight and make healthy lifestyle changes but don't have the time or desire to commit to health counseling.  They know they want or need to make healthy changes, but don't know where to start.  All the information necessary is right here, in one easy to navigate place. 

You will find recipes, cooking and exercise tips and how to videos to help demystify health and weight lose.  You can start a discussion and get feedback and support. We will also have monthly tele-classes on many different health relation topics, as well as interviews with others in the holistic health industry.  If you have a problem being on the call live, they will be recorded for you to listen to at your convenience.

This is a paid site. The cost to become a member is $50.00 per year.

What You'll Find Here

Recipes: Approximately 300 recipes broken down into categories.  Some of the categories you will find are poultry, seafood, vegetables, beans, grains, desserts, sauces and breakfast.  These recipes are fast, easy and healthy.  You'll find recipes under the Share tab at the top of this page and then file cabinet.

How-to Videos:  Your very own Personal Chef and Personal Trainer is here! 20 vidoes on topics such as how to hold a chef knife, how to buy a knife, how do exercise properly, demonstrations of the proper use of free weights and free weight exercises targeting specific muscles, as well as how to make your own body care products with things you may have in your kitchen.  These videos can be found under the More tab at the top of this page broken down by topic.

Recordings:  If you couldn't make it to the tele-classes the recording are here.  You will be able to download and listen to them at your convenience. You'll find the recording under the More tab at the top of this page and then Class Recordings
